Navy punishes officer who shot at terrorist in Chattanooga
The military is more worried about accepting transgender members than our unarmed troops at bases and recruiting stations around the nation. The Navy is bringing charges against Lt. Commander Timothy White for returning fire against terrorist Abdulazeez with his personal weapon during the massacre at the Chattanooga Recruiting station on July 16.
The charge: discharging a weapon on federal property.
Navy punishes officer
One of the Marines who died at the Chattanooga recruiting station also drew his weapon- a 9mm Glock- along with Lt Commander White. Â It is against Defense Department policy to be armed at military facilities. They are supposed to be “gun free zones.”
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
Outrageous!
Though the Marine died in spite of his effort, Lt Commander White did not – so instead of hailing him as a hero who defended his colleagues, the Navy is going to prosecute him for using his personal gun. They are also “checking to see” if he was “authorized” to have it.
The Navy Times reported,
A service member inside the building saw Abdulazeez approaching and fired at hit, Reinhold said. The investigator’s description of this incident matches account of White’s actions that day, as relayed by officials close to the investigation to Navy Times. The gunman shot back and then proceeded inside.
Once inside, he fatally wounded a sailor and “continued to shoot those he encountered,” Reinhold said.
As police followed the gunshots, he then walked out the back door into a gated motor pool area, where troops tried to scramble over a fence to safety, and it was here that the four Marines were killed.
When the shooting first started, troops inside the building went room to room to rush their colleagues to safety, said Maj. Gen. Paul W. Brier, commanding general of the 4th Marine Division. Then, some rushed back into the fight.
Lt Commander White deserves a medal, not prosecuted
Abdulazeez was an Islamic terrorist. He wasn’t a ‘disgruntled employee,’ he did not have a ‘psychotic break’. He intended to kill our military members. Premeditated murder. What will the Navy do next- if it comes out that the Lt Commander’s bullet helped kill the gunman- will they charge him with murder?
This action by the Navy is unconscionable.
“What kind of freaking idiots are in charge of our Armed Forces — pardon me, our ‘unArmed Forces’? What would they prefer that Abdulazeez had been able to kill all the Marines and Sailors at the Naval Support Reserve Center?… But this knucklehead [Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus] has no problem with the Navy seeking to destroy the career of a Sailor, a commander of an installation, returning fire against an Islamic jihadist attack. I do not care if it was his personal weapon, he deserves a medal for facing the enemy.” Allen West
The United States military leadership has  become so corrupt that it is no longer recognizable. When the top leaders prosecute military members  for engaging the enemy whether overseas or on U.S. soil, there is something severely wrong.
