National pro-Trump patriot union set to launch site on Inauguration Day

American flag patriotWhile the election of Donald Trump is seen as a major step in restoring the United States, the fact remains that Trump cannot do it all alone.  Of course, there’s Congress and the fifty state legislatures — something Trump will have to contend and work with — but there’s something even more important than those bodies — the American people.  Specifically, the grassroots conservatives who worked and voted to restore the nation and bring some semblance of common sense back to government.  To help ensure Trump’s goal of “making America great again,” one group is organizing what it calls a “National Patriot Union” to inform, educate and motivate grassroots conservatives across the country.  And, group spokesman Michael Hutton told me, that effort is set to officially launch on Inauguration Day.

The idea, Hutton said, is to help bring all the various groups and individuals together in order to present a unified front, something which is sorely needed.  Having been involved in grassroots politics for quite some time, I can personally attest to the fact that getting conservatives to work toward the same goal is a bit like herding cats.

The group’s website explains:

When we look at everything going wrong in America we see that all of our institutions have been corrupted.  Our Schools have become propaganda mills.  Our News Media has become a tool of ideologues whose vision of America’s future is Socialistic, valueless and amoral.  Our governments from our cities to the Federal Government have become corrupt with greed and power, serving the interests of those that can pay.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Changing this will require more than a political movement or legal strategy.  Healing America will require a cultural movement that believes in and demonstrates the high ideals required to be a free nation.  America is without guidance and leadership.  And the only true leadership is that which is done by example.

The Patriot Union will work to be that example through the many endeavors and initiatives we will support and help to succeed.  Right now in America there are thousands of patriotic efforts underway with many brilliant people moving solutions forward.  The Patriot Union will bring together the people and resources to see those efforts succeed.  The fights for education reform, government reform, reform in the news media, and all of the other fights currently engaged in by our fellow Americans… your fight… will be moved forward through our unity and cooperation.   Fighting corruption together is how we win and see what is good and right realized.

The reason for this is simple, Hutton said: “Liberals are engaged in a formal assault on the fabric of the country.”

Nothing could be more correct.  Over the last eight years, we’ve seen firsthand the direct assault on our freedom, the Constitution, even reality itself.  We’ve been told, for example, that literally everything is racist and the outgoing president has told Americans that regardless of what we think, we really didn’t work for our own success or build our own businesses.

Liberals, Hutton explained, have used propaganda and disinformation coupled with a government class in a coordinated and deliberate effort to diminish state and individual rights. Worse yet, he said, the left has become an unreasonable partner in our democracy.  This has become more obvious in the days since the election with liberals calling for Trump’s assassination and a coup d’etat against the incoming administration.

The patriot union, therefore, is a response to the organized left, which includes the so-called mainstream media, what we call the “Democrat-media complex.”

The goal is to aggregate the collective power of millions of patriots to empower those without it to provide what Hutton called a clear and unfettered window between the citizenry and those in authority.

The organization is based on the federalist model with an overarching national group and autonomous groups in each of the 50 states.

Hutton further tells me that he’s been in touch with a number of people about this idea for about four years, and, he adds, organizations like the Heritage Foundation are excited about it.  He also tells me the group plans to file the necessary paperwork to become tax-exempt, something the organization was hesitant to do under the Obama regime, given the IRS targeting of various Tea Party groups.

In addition to empowering an informing individuals, the group plans to build a citizen-based news alternative to help counter and balance the biased reporting of the media.  The site says that “where bias is found we will bring a spotlight to it and organize our members to boycott those agencies that are supporting those media outlets.  We will contact advertisers and bring their attention to the media bias and to our unwillingness to tolerate it.  By withholding our resources in commerce we can end the free reign of control over the news media… we can force news outlets to report the truth without bias so that Americans are informed and can decide how to guide their governments.”

Although the site has not officially launched, Hutton says it is already getting some 20,000 views on a daily basis.  The organization’s Facebook group, which can be seen here, currently has over 13,000 members.

Those who wish to participate in “making America great again” can do so by visiting the website here and registering.
