While visiting a company in Cincinnati, Ohio, President Trump mocked House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and called Democrats “un-American” and “treasonous” for refusing to applaud good economic news at his recent State of the Union speech. His comments didn’t sit too well with Pelosi, who falsely claimed he seeks loyalty to him over the country.
“Dead silence. There was not a smile,” he said, referring to Democrats who refused to applaud the lowest unemployment numbers for black and Hispanic Americans in history. “That means they would rather see Trump do badly than our country do well. That’s what it means. It’s very selfish.”
“They were like death – and un-American,” he added.
“Someone said treasonous. Yeah, I guess, why not? Shall we call that treason? Why not,” Trump further said. “I mean they certainly didn’t seem to love our country very much. But you look at that and it’s really very, very sad.”

He also ridiculed Pelosi for calling his tax cuts, “crumbs.”
“Well, she’s a rich woman who lives in a big beautiful house in California, who wants to give all your money away,” he said.
He wasn’t finished, however, calling Pelosi the GOP’s “secret weapon.”
“She’s our secret weapon. I just hope they don’t change her!” Trump added. “There are a lot of people that want to run her out. She’s really out there.”
Pelosi responded on Twitter: “Every American should be alarmed by how @realDonaldTrump is working to make loyalty to him synonymous with loyalty to our country. That is not how democracy works.”

As the Daily Caller noted, Pelosi watched Trump’s speech with a serious frown while he spoke.
