Nancy Pelosi suggests Russians blackmailing Trump, hints at GOP conspiracy
The insanity of the left knows no bounds. On Thursday, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., suggested blackmail between the Russians and President Trump and hinted at a massive GOP conspiracy to cover something up.
"What do the Russians have on Donald Trump politically, financially and personally?" Nancy Pelosi asked during news conference on Thursday pic.twitter.com/NLQXoC38ky

“What does the President have to hide?” she asked. “What do the Russians have on Donald Trump, personally, politically and financially, that he is keeping a secret?”
She wasn’t finished: “Why are the Republicans in Congress accomplices to that secrecy? Why are the Republicans in Congress voting to say ‘No, we don’t think he should release his tax returns?’ It’s a very bad vote for them. That’s a very bad vote for them.”
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
There’s more: “The tax returns, many believe, are part of the Russian connection, the disruption of our election, the money pouring into the Trump organization, any personal embarrassment to the president — we want to know the truth, and we can start by seeing his tax returns. Which is not an extraordinary request – unless you’re Donald Trump and think you’re above custom, tradition and maybe even the law,” she added.
Here’s video:
Of course it doesn’t matter to Pelosi that there’s absolutely no evidence of any collusion between Trump and the Russians.

Yes it is, and as Rolling Stone’s Matt Taibbi (hardly a conservative, by the way) warned, Democrats and their media allies are in danger of overplaying the “Russia” card.
“If there’s any truth to the notion that the Trump campaign colluded with the Russian state to disrupt the electoral process, then yes, what we’re seeing now are the early outlines of a Watergate-style scandal that could topple a presidency,” he wrote.
“But it could also be true that both the Democratic Party and many leading media outlets are making a dangerous gamble, betting their professional and political capital on the promise of future disclosures that may not come,” he added. “We can’t afford to bolster these accusations of establishment bias and overreach by using the techniques of conspiracy theorists to push this Russia story. Unfortunately, that is happening.”
Apparently, Pelosi didn’t get that memo.
