MSNBC Propagandist Joy Reid: Milley ‘Heroic’ Patriot For Alleged Treasonous Collusion With Red China

If the allegations in a new book by Washington Post journalists Bob Woodward and Robert Costa are correct, sometime last year, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley conspired to commit treason against then-President Donald Trump and the United States. And MSNBC propagandist Joy Reid could not be happier.

According to the book, Milley called his Chinese counterpart, Gen. Li Zuocheng of the People’s Liberation Army, just four days before the November 2020 election. The account says Milley promised to warn the Chinese general if President Trump decided to take military action against the Communist nation.

“General Li, you and I have known each other for now five years. If we’re going to attack, I’m going to call you ahead of time. It’s not going to be a surprise,” he reportedly told the Chinese general.

News of the blockbuster claim spread like wildfire, with many calling on Milley to resign if the allegations are true.

Even Alexander Vindman, no friend of Trump, called Milley out and said he needs to resign:

But Reid, being the deranged, Trump-hating ignoramus she is, defended Milley, and said if the allegations are true, that makes him “heroic” and a “patriot.”

According to the Daily Caller:

“Good luck with that because he seems to be the greatest patriot that was on duty during the previous administration,” Reid said when Associated Press reporter Jonathan Lemire said that Republican Florida Sen. Marco Rubio had called for President Joe Biden to fire Milley.

The MSNBC host went on to say that Milley was “emerging as a pretty heroic and important American figure in this era.”

Granted, Reid isn’t exactly the sharpest pencil in any box, and she proves it every time she opens her mouth. But to claim that a treasonous act is somehow heroic or patriotic is a bit much to stomach. Unless, of course, she pledges her allegiance to Communist China. Who knows, maybe she does…

And for what it’s worth, Reid isn’t the only liberal propagandist to defend Milley. Newsbusters tells us that with the possible exception of Chris “Fredo” Cuomo, several talking heads at CNN jumped on the pro-Milley treason bandwagon:

For much of Tuesday, CNN was fixated on claims from Bob Woodward’s new book that Joint Chiefs Chairman General Mark Milley had committed treason by promising China that he would warn them if the United States planned to attack. It even weaseled into their California recall election coverage where special correspondent Jamie Gangel openly defended Milley, suggesting he was just trying to protect the country and critics were acting on politics.

But in the previous hour, Prime Time host Chris Cuomo bucked the network’s notion, questioning the impropriety. He even brought on anti-Trumper Alexander Vindman (yes, the guy who tried to get President Trump kicked out of office) to call for Milley to resign.

“He’s looking at Donald Trump. He’s worried about January 6. And he also knows that the Chinese have been rattled by Trump’s behavior, and by his failure to concede, and he is making sure every precaution is in place,” Gangel gushed for the lawless General.

What's amazing is that CNN is covering General Milley's treason as if he did the right thing.

NBC propagandist Andrea Mitchell also made the argument that Milley was justified in committing treason and giving aid and comfort to China, Nicholas Fondacaro said:

Yep. We’re literally at that point.

Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., called on Milley to resign, but that doesn’t even begin to go far enough. Milley should be forced to resign, arrested, charged with treason and seditious conspiracy, then sent to Gitmo until his court-martial.

Maybe we can send Reid and a few of her fellow propagandists with him.
