More thanks to Maxine Waters: NY Democrat arrested for threatening to kill supporters of GOP Rep., Trump

On Friday, Suffolk County Police said it arrested 72-year-old Martin Astrof after he threatened to kill supporters of Republican Congressman Lee Zeldin and President Donald Trump.

Astrof, police said, went to the campaign headquarters of Congressman Zeldin and became irate with a campaign worker at approximately 11:15 a.m. After threatening to kill the campaign worker and other supporters of the GOP representative, Astrof backed his car up in an aggressive manner nearly striking the worker.

Astrof fled the scene and was arrested a short time later in front of his home in Nesconset.

Astrof, 75, of 7 Meryl Lane, was charged with Making a Terroristic Threat, a felony, and Reckless Endangerment 2^nd Degree.

Astrof will be held overnight at the Fourth Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on July 7.

A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Zeldin identified the suspect as a local Democrat.

“In the US, political scores are settled at the ballot box, not by trying to kill your political opponents,” Zeldin tweeted. “Donato Panico is a great American, supporter of @realDonaldTrump & one of my campaign vols. He shouldn’t have been targeted like this today for his passion & involvement.”

He shouldn’t have, but that’s the way things are now, thanks in part to Trump-haters like Maxine Waters, the impeachment-obsessed California Democrat who recently incited violence against members of the Trump administration and Jennifer Rubin, the Washington Post propagandist who said Sarah Huckabee Sanders should be harassed by insane leftists for the rest of her life.

As we reported earlier, a Florida man was beaten and dragged by the arm for simply having a Trump flag in his yard.

Breitbart’s John Nolte has posted a list of media-approved assaults and harassment against Trump supporters he intends to keep updated for at least the next week.  So far, Nolte’s list is up to 190 incidents.
