Joe Biden’s left-wing buddies may have been the ones to suggest names for the Presidential medals, but the end result is that Biden honors evil. From Hillary Clinton to George Soros, to Liz Cheney and Ben Thompson from the Jan 6 commission, then LGBTQ and abortion activists, it was a litany of leftist policies that have torn our nation apart and revealed the lies behind the man being called “president.” And the controversial picks obscured the others who were not necessarily leftists.
Biden gave both the Presidential Medals of Freedom and the Presidential Citizens Medal.
Presidential Citizens Medal (20)
“The Presidential Citizens Medal is awarded to citizens of the United States of America who have performed exemplary deeds of service for their country or their fellow citizens. President Biden believes these Americans are bonded by their common decency and commitment to serving others. The country is better because of their dedication and sacrifice.” White House
While some of these medals were given without much controversy, giving one to Liz Cheney, Ben Thompson, and activists Mary Bonauto and Eleanor Smeal was definitely not the “moral high ground.” Liz Cheney is accused of destroying exculpatory evidence on Trump from Jan 6, and Ben Thompson from the Jan 6 Commission that acted like the proverbial “kangaroo court.”
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
Biden abandoned his Catholic roots to give these as well:
“Mary Bonauto, an attorney and gay marriage activist who argued before the Supreme Court in Obergefell v. Hodges, which created a constitutional right to same-sex marriage, and Evan Wolfson, a leading gay marriage activist, are among 20 recipients of the prestigious award presented at the White House Thursday. Eleanor Smeal, who led national pro-abortion campaigns and routinely criticized the Catholic Church’s position on abortion and sexuality, was also awarded.” (White House statement)
The Presidential Medal of Freedom (19)
Perhaps the worst situation to honor evil occurred in giving the highest civilian award of the Presidential Medal of Freedom. It is supposed to be given to individuals who have made exemplary contributions to the prosperity, values or security of the United States, world peace or other significant societal, public or private endeavors. “Exemplary contributions” doesn’t exactly fit either Hillary or Soros. She used BleachBit to destroy thousands of documents to protect herself from prosecution for mishandling of classified materials. Soros has funded leftist prosecutors who are so soft on crime that the crime rate in America has soared in Democrat-run cities.
However, her tenure as Secretary of State came in for much criticism over her handling of the war in Libya and the attack on United States government facilities in Benghazi, Libya, on Sept. 11, 2012. Four Americans died in the attack, including Ambassador Christopher Stevens.
She also used a private email server for government business. Although FBI Director James Comey said publicly that Clinton had mishandled classified information, he declined to recommend prosecution, and the Department of Justice refused to move forward with the case…
Soros, a mega-Democrat donor, runs a web of non-profits that bankroll various candidates around the world who align with his progressive agenda, including his Open Society Foundations. Soros has given over $32 billion to Open Society Foundations since 1984, according to its website…Â
However, commentators on the right have slammed him for funding progressive district attorneys who have been light on crime, which they say has led to crime waves in Blue cities. Fox
The sad thing is that the other recipients of the medals are overshadowed by the controversial ones. That Biden honors evil is just another moment in the “legacy” of a failed president.
