Mika Brzezinski’s tin foil hat conspiracy: Trump ‘raided’ doctor to cover for STD

During Wednesday’s edition of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” co-host Mika Brzezinski put forward a tin foil hat conspiracy theory that President Trump has a sexually-transmitted disease and “raided” his former doctor’s office to cover it up.
Newsbusters’ Scott Whitlock said that MSNBC panelist Elise Jordan got things going when she suggested that working for the Trump administration is “the political equivalent of an STD.”
“Wait a minute,” Brzezinski said, “maybe that’s why he raided his doctor’s office!”
This was in reference to a May 1 report at the New York Times which said Trump aides essentially raided the doctor’s office, removing all of the president’s medical files:
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
President Trump’s longtime physician said in an interview published Tuesday that after he told The New York Times that Mr. Trump took a drug to promote hair growth, two Trump aides staged what he called “a raid” of his Manhattan office in February 2017 and removed all of Mr. Trump’s medical files.
Dr. Harold N. Bornstein, who served as Mr. Trump’s personal doctor for 36 years, told NBC News that the roughly half-hour encounter left him feeling “raped, frightened and sad.” He said that since the president’s bodyguard, Keith Schiller, accompanied by a lawyer for the Trump Organization, Alan Garten, and a third man he did not recognize took the files, he has had no contact with Mr. Trump and been effectively removed from his orbit.
In a brief phone call with The Times on Tuesday, Dr. Bornstein did not elaborate on what he told NBC except to say that his earlier interviews with a reporter for the newspaper had caused him “torture for more than a year.” He demanded an apology and a large donation in his name to Tufts University, where he completed medical school. The Times declined both requests.
Whitlock said Brzezinski’s “revelation” resulted in “awkward silence from her co-panelists. Then laughter followed.”
He added:
It would seem that promoting conspiracy theories might be the opposite of the public lecture Brzezinski gave earlier this week about civility and the need to be respectful. MSNBC co-host Stephanie Ruhle also appeared on the show and compared Trump to “every time I’ve dated an awful jerk out there.”
“It truly like every time I’ve ever dated an awful jerk out there and then thought, you know what? ‘I’m going to be the girl to change him.’ And every person who touches President Trump thinks that: ‘I’m going to be the girl that turns this guy around.’ And nobody can because this is who he is,” Ruhle said.
Whitlock concluded: “And this woman is supposed to be one of the straight news reporters on MSNBC.”
Keep in mind that Brzezinski once said that it’s the job of the liberal media to control what we think.
