Widely criticized video belongs to Mardi Gras, not Christmas

Jill Biden released a White House video of a “playful” version of the Nutcracker Suite. It was truly cringe-worthy and had nothing whatever to do with Christmas. It would have been better off as a float in the New Orleans Mardi Gras parade. The composer of the Nutcracker, Tchaikovsky, would be rolling over in his grave.

In fairness, the left absolutely hated Melania’s Christmas decor and videos, but the rest of us loved it. At least Jill Biden could have used real Christmas music instead the horrendous junk on the video.

Everything about that video is gross, including the use of our tax dollars. Oh, I’m sure we’ll be told there’s some White House Holiday Fund for private donors looking to wash their sex-trafficking money, but it’s still gross, especially the performances.

Look at the smug all over the faces of those marginally talented dancers. They are so PROUD of themselves. They’re not looking to humbly share the joy of the season or even their art, like an Astaire or Kelly or Bojangles would. It’s all about their self-satisfied superiority. John Nolte at Breitbart

One X user tried to justify it by calling it an “indigenous art form,” and “culturally significant.” His definition of indigenous didn’t include Native Americans, as they don’t dance like that. The company, Dorrance Dance, is fully committed to making White people “check their privilege,” and claims to “educate” people about racism. They should check their dancing first.

The video actually verges on racist, with the tap-dancing Black folks in it furthering a stereotype. As I mentioned before, this video would have done better for the Mardi Gras than a Christmas video. Way to go, Jill Biden, you have even out done your own “Breakfast taco” statements.
