Lying Liberal Media Lies About ‘Peaceful’ BLM Mob And St. Louis Couple Protecting Home With Firearms

Color us not surprised. On Monday, Newsbusters and Twitchy reported that lying propagandists in the lying liberal media lied about the couple in St. Louis who protected their home with firearms from a rampaging mob of Black Lives Matter protesters.

Kristine Marsh tells us that “after a Black Lives Matter mob entered a gated community and shouted threats on their way to the home of St. Louis’s Democrat mayor Sunday, a couple who brandished firearms while protecting their home has been targeted by the media as the real villains of the story.”

Of course, they’re white. So naturally, they’re the villains. And the media would probably have you believe they’re white supremacists.

Just so you know… According to Mark McCloskey, the homeowner involved in this situation, the mob threatened to MURDER him and his wife, then occupy their home. But the media would have us believe that a group of people calmly walking around handing out Skittles and candy bars were brutally set upon by a bunch of crazed MAGA-hat wearing individuals with machine guns.

Writing at Newsbusters, Marsh tells us:

Except that’s not exactly the whole picture. Livestream video shows this large group of shouting protesters were not just passing by the couple’s home on a public street as the media claims. They actually broke into a gated community, trespassed on private property while shouting threats such as, “Whose streets? Our streets!” Other videos which Twitter has now removed, allegedly showed demonstrators shouting out violent threats to the homeowner and cops. The man in the video confirmed in an interview that the mob had descended onto his property and was threatening to kill his family and burn down his home, when he and his wife decided to come out armed and tell them to leave.

And as you can imagine, there’s a whole lot of context missing here:

"A white couple" who the hell cares what color they are? They were defending their property from an angry mob of 500 people.

Just “passing by,” huh? Not quite, at least according to McCloskey.

And, Twitchy notes, this wannabe tough guy called them racists for protecting their home and said he’d “beat their brains in.”

This guy, by the way, happens to be left-wing think tank president Jerry Taylor.

And as for the McCloskeys being racists, Twitchy has this little nugget of information:

We may not agree with the McCloskey’s political views, but we certainly believe they have the right to hold them and the right to defend their home — with firearms if necessary. Additionally, there’s no reason for them to be misrepresented by lying propagandists with an agenda. Personally, I hope they sue the living daylights out of these hacks.

It’s further proof that no matter how bad these “protests” get, the media will always describe left-wing protests as “peaceful,” even if they’re lighting businesses on fire behind you.
