Do liberals really want a second bloody civil war? On Tuesday, Republican Donald J. Trump won a historic election to become the 45th President of the United States. Liberals — who ironically castigated Trump for saying he may not accept the result of the election — went on a rampage across the country, unable and unwilling to accept the fact that he won.
Over three million people, including a number of Hollywood celebrities, have signed a petition asking the Electoral College to overturn the election and install Democrat Hillary Clinton as President.
And as we have reported:
- Liberal thugs beat and hospitalized a man’s dog over Donald Trump.
- Liberals flooded Twitter with calls to murder Trump and his supporters.
- A high school girl was beaten for supporting Trump.
- A writer with the left-wing Guardian advocated Trump’s assassination.
- A leader of the Council on American Islamic Relations advocated overthrowing the government.
- A protester told CNN that people “have to die” over Trump’s victory.
- Measures to secede have been put forward in California and Oregon.
And those are just some of the incidents we’ve reported. There’s many more.
Which Candidate Do You Support in the Republican Primaries?
The media — which has helped gin up the hate — would have us believe all this is organic, but is it, really?
Peter Hasson reported at the Daily Caller:
A left-wing charity organization with unknown sources of money is providing the funding for protests around the country — some of which have turned into violent riots — that have threatened a divided nation’s ability to unify after a contentious presidential election.
The Progress Unity Fund is a tax-exempt 501(c)3 organization — the same classification as the Red Cross. The group’s mission is to “provide a progressive alternative to mainstream charities,” according to its IRS filings.
The fund provides the financial backing for Act Now To Stop War & End Racism (ANSWER) Coalition, a left-wing activist group that began organizing “emergency protests” immediately after Trump’s election.
“It’s unclear where Progress Unity Fund gets its money — the fund doesn’t publicly list its donors and didn’t respond to a list of questions submitted by The Daily Caller,” Hasson added.
But, a post at Dennis Michael Lynch’s website says, it appears Soros money may be behind all this:
MoveOn.org, a liberal activist group that has exploded all across the nation, is funded by Soros’ Open Society Foundations. It is now well known that MoveOn.org was responsible for many of the riots and protests at Donald Trump’s campaign rallies, some of which became violent and dangerous.
Wednesday – the day following Trump’s victory – MoveOn.org moved into action. The group put out a notice on their Facebook page, announcing they would conduct “peaceful gatherings of resistance” all across the country Wednesday evening.
And there’s more.
Kshama Sawant, a Socialist councilwoman in Seattle, Washington, actually called for massive protests to stop Trump’s inauguration in January.
In a packed post-election rally at Seattle City Hall on Wednesday afternoon, Socialist councilmember Kshama Sawant called for a massive protest on Wednesday night and a nationwide shutdown on Inauguration Day in response to president-elect Donald Trump.
“I appeal to you, [Wednesday] at 4 o’clock, at Westlake [Park], let’s have a massive protest, and tell America we do not accept a racist agenda,” Sawant said. “And let’s make sure on Inauguration Day … let’s do a nationwide shutdown.”
Sawant made headlines in 2014 for being among several people arrested at Alaska Airlines headquarters in SeaTac during a demonstration protesting the company’s failure to pay workers $15 an hour. Watch video here.
Other protests erupted in Seattle and along the West Coast on Wednesday morning after Trump one 270 electoral college votes.
Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton have encouraged their followers to remain peaceful and accept Trump’s victory. Obama, however, has done absolutely nothing to put an end to the violence.
What’s the end game?
There are now concerns that Trump may be the target of a left-wing assassination attempt. No doubt, such an attempt, even if unsuccessful, could spark even more violence and hate.
Do liberals really want a second bloody war over Trump’s electoral victory? It sure seems that way.
