Liberal terrorism? Two hospitalized after exposure to unknown powder at Sen. Cruz’s Houston campaign office
On Tuesday, news broke that two people were hospitalized after a suspicious letter containing white powder was opened. The Houston Fire Department said the 9th floor of the Phoenix Tower has been evacuated and hazardous materials personnel are working to determine the nature of the unknown substance.
Two people were taken to the hospital after apparently being exposed to a white powdery substance in an office building at 3200 SW Fwy. The 9th floor of the Phoenix Tower has been evacuated as HFD HazMat is responding to the scene working to determine the nature of the substance.

The Daily Caller said the letter “was opened by campaign staff and authorities were immediately called, according to The Weekly Standard.”
The Houston Fire Department lifted the evacuation order and said the powder tested negative for any hazardous substance:
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Nevertheless, reaction to the incident was predictable, as a number of people see it as an act of left-wing domestic terrorism.
“Democrats have unleashed their minions against Republican officials,” Jim Hoft said at the Gatway Pundit.

I don’t care what you think about Ted Cruz, this kind of thing is NEVER ok. Even if it’s just a so-called prank with flour or something physically harmless. You’re still terrifying innocent office workers. Sick and cruel. #txlege #TXSen https://t.co/A2kGhSxMlS

Find the person who did this, lock them up, and throw away the key. https://t.co/dNOP3PX7fb

Let’s hope not.
But then there’s this:
Houston-area media are also reporting that Ted Cruz's Houston office has been locked down due to a suspicious package incident, though no injuries have been reported. https://t.co/mREH2LHxpc
