Legacy Moment or Danger? Most of the Joint Chiefs could be Shuffled Soon

Chairman and Secretary of the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, maybe even the USAF could leave

At least five of the Joint Chiefs of Staff could leave: the Chairman, and heads of the Army, Navy, Marine Corps and possibly even the Air Force. That’s not counting the heads of the Northern Command, Cyber Command, and Space Command. The liberal press is calling the situation a “legacy moment” for Biden. Oh my God, we hope not. This is a time for strong leadership, not the watered-down wokeness of the last several years.

The players

Army General Mark Milley is the current Chairman of the Joint Chiefs. As he went behind a sitting President to call on China, we would hope that at some point he would be called to account for that treasonous act. His ridiculous wish that he would understand “whiteness” gave us daymares considering the gravity of the possible conflict with China and even Russia. So who is up to replace him?

Politico speculated that the possibility of Army General CQ Brown, or Marine Corps General David Berger, or even Army General Laura Richardson could be up for the post.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

The head of the Army, General James McConville could be replaced by Army General Randy George or even Army General Andrew Pappas.

The head of the Navy is currently Admiral Mike Gilday. Up for that position could be Adm Lisa Franchetti or Adm Samuel Paparo.

The head of the Air Force is currently General C. Q. Brown, who if tapped as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs would leave an opening. Up for the position are Gen. Jacqueline Van Ovost or Gen David Allvin.

The Current Commandant of the Marine Corps is Gen David Berger. If he were chosen to be the Chairman another opening would leave room for Gen Eric Smith or Lt Gen Karsten Heckle.

Our military was decimated from strong leaders under Obama, as hundreds of officers were removed from their positions. The problem needs to be reversed immediately. As China moves more aggressively and Russia continues to sword-rattle, we absolutely need strong military leadership.

Though the Joint Chiefs of Staff are primarily presidential advisors who testify to Congress, without real strength in their stances, our enemies will continue to laugh at our feeble attempts to counter them. It’s past time to get tough. Whether any of the potential candidates that Politico found are up for that task remains to be seen.
