On Friday, The Alteran reported that radical leftists in Louisville, Kentucky are now using cancel culture to extort businesses in the East Market District of downtown Louisville.
Jacob Johnston of The Alteran reported that these “activists” have sent out a three-page contract to the businesses located in NuLu on Friday demanding reparations from the businesses and threatened to damage their reputations with fake online reviews and fake complaints on social media if they do not cave into their demands.

The three pages of demands come with a deadline of August 17th or else.

The rational from these “activists” in what can only be seen as criminal extortions were laid out in their letter stating:
“The residents of Louisville, Kentucky are standing strong, educated, and together to express the destruction your business has caused to low-income communities, specifically those with majority black residents,” the letter begins.
“We, therefore, demand representation and reparations in the NuLu business district of Louisville for the gentrification that has taken place. The policies and processes of the revitalization on NuLu has displaced marginalized people from homes their families have often resided for generations, single-handedly progressing the gentrification of black neighborhoods.”
“This process has been happening to black, indigenous, and persons of color at the hands of white, heterosexual patriarchy since the inception of this nation we call home. Black folx [sic] can’t ‘have this own space’ when wealthy white folks see an opportunity to make more money,” the letter continues. “Gentrification is a palatable term that sugar coats one more aspect of an oppressive system targeted at black folx [sic] for 400 years. We are here today to demand representation over tokenism.”
This extortion attempt comes as no surprise to anyone on the right as this was the predictable evolution of cancel culture.
Despite the left’s proclamations of the evils of capitalism as being all about greed, the left’s actions are all about greed, but unlike capitalists, they don’t want to have to earn it, instead, they look for ways to extort and con other people out of their hard-earned money.
With the success of cancel culture aided largely by left-wing activists that control the major tech companies and what you can or cannot say, read, or have access along with spineless corporations bowing to the left over the years.
