It’s official: Mexico does more than Democrats to stop illegals, sends 15,000 troops to border
On Monday, Fox News reported that Mexico is sending 15,000 troops to stem the flow of illegal immigrants into the United States. Responding to the news, Vice President Mike Pence hailed the move, and said Mexico is now doing more to stop illegal immigration than Democrats.
“Mexico is keeping its promise & now sending 15,000 troops to border to help with crisis. Meanwhile Dems won’t fund beds for migrant children. Mexico continues to do more than Congressional Dems to secure our border, and its time for them to STEP UP!” he said on Twitter.

The Mexican government has dispatched approximately 15,000 troops and National Guard officers to the U.S. border in a bid to check the flow of migration from Central America, the country’s defense chief told reporters Monday.
Mexico promised earlier this month to send 6,500 National Guard agents to its southern border, but Monday’s announcement was the first public acknowledgment of deployments to the U.S. border.
At a news conference in the Caribbean city of Cancun, Defense Secretary Luis Cresencio Sandoval said Mexican forces were detaining migrants to prevent them from crossing the U.S. border. Mexican security forces previously have detained migrants traveling within Mexico but had not stopped them from crossing into the United States.
The report also said that under the agreement with Mexico City, “asylum seekers are to wait on the Mexican side of the border while their claims make their way through U.S. courts.”
Donald Trump Jr., also shredded Democrats on social media.
“Mexico doing more to protect America than democrats. The dems have lost their way… they are not your grandfather’s democrat party any longer and haven’t been for far too long,” he said on Twitter.
Meanwhile, Democrat Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez continues to push her outrageous “concentration camp” rhetoric and Nancy Pelosi, the Speaker of the House, at least in name, doesn’t think illegals should be deported for simply breaking immigration law and entering the country illegally.

It’s sad that we’ve now come to the point where a foreign power is doing more to stop illegal immigration than a major U.S. political party.
