Hamas launched rocket attacks and infiltrated the Israeli borders with gunmen on Saturday, leaving over 100 dead and at least 800 injured. In addition, Hamas conducted numerous kidnappings. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the nation of Israel is now at war. (Breitbart)

Hamas claimed that at least 5,000 rockets were launched and called on Palestinians everywhere to attack Israelis. They claimed to have captured numerous IDF soldiers and civilians as well.
“This is the day of the greatest battle to end the last occupation on earth.” Mohammad Deif, Senior Hamas military commander (Fox).
In addition to the thousands of rockets launched, armed Hamas operatives infiltrated several Israeli cities and towns in the Southern portion of the nation: Sderot, Ashkelon, and others, from air, land and sea. Israel retaliated with the IDF to deliver “a price they’ve never known before.” The retaliation “Swords of Iron” has led to at least 198 Palestinian deaths so far.

The IDF stated they hope to fully take down the terrorists over the next 24 hours.

How did this happen? The Biden administration released $6 Billion in funds to the Iranian regime, which sponsors terrorists like Hamas. The fear now is that Lebanon and Syria could also launch attacks. Israel at war is a terrible thing – a small country (with nuclear capability, by the way) that has endured decades of attacks from the Gaza strip and other areas. They do retaliate swiftly, something the terrorist organizations don’t seem to care about.
Israel is now under attack by Iranian-backed Hamas terrorists. Iran has helped fund this war against Israel and Joe Biden’s policies that have gone easy on Iran have helped fill their coffers.

Biden issued a statement of solidarity with Israel and its right to defend itself against the terrorist attacks. Which is the usual hypocrisy after the stupid moment when they released money to help fund the attacks. Iran is the foremost sponsor of Hamas.
Numerous world leaders also issued statements of solidarity toward Israel.
For its part, Hamas says it’s ready for a “worst case scenario.” Flush with new cash, it could cause this war to last a while.
