Immigration Fight Gets Nasty – Will Ryan Get Booted from Speaker Position?

House Speaker Paul Ryan’s position may be in jeopardy, if a few Conservative Republicans decide to move forward with a “Vacate the Chair” motion. Why? Some think he lied about the immigration issue and has been trying to undercut President Trump, according to Breitbart. At this point, it’s put up or shut up, get rid of him or stop talking about it. We’ve all known he was a RINO for years.

Trending: Chicago Democrats Caught Red-Handed Committing Election Fraud

At issue are two bills, one from Paul Ryan and one from Bob Goodlatte. The Ryan bill might get through the Congress, but it’s not a done deal. The President already said he wouldn’t sign it. Update: he is reportedly now saying he will sign it. Even if it did get through, at what cost to America? The Goodlatte bill is probably dead in the water without support from key Republicans… because it follows the President’s agenda more closely.

Fox News puts it like this:

The Trump administration announced in September of last year plans to end the program and gave Congress six months to pass the so-called DREAM Act, which has been batted around in Congress since 2001 and would provide a path to citizenship for the 700,000 DACA recipients.

Goodlatte’s immigration bill would only give DACA recipients a three-year renewable legal status and the use of existing paths to permanent resident status, while Ryan’s legislation provides a path to citizenship for as many as 1.8 million young people who have been living in the U.S. illegally since childhood.

So many things need to be fixed with immigration policy. Amnesty is not the way to fix these problems. We need the wall. We need to stop the visa lottery system. We need to break that chain migration issue. Paul Ryan may have lost a lot of his clout just because he is stepping down as Speaker on the House. But his track record  as a swamp dweller is sickening  — a man who has been against Trump since the beginning.

Breitbart wrote,

“Ryan’s dwindling influence is costing him support across the party. One House GOP aide from a moderate office whose member sits on the House Appropriations Committee confirmed to Breitbart News that if offered the opportunity again to vote on whether Ryan should remain Speaker, that the member would vote against it. Conservatives across the party have been calling for Ryan to step aside now from the Speakership, with Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ) saying in a previous Breitbart News radio interview that Ryan should not be allowed to stay as a lame duck speaker–especially while he’s opposing the president’s agenda on immigration, trade, national security, and more.

Ryan has deliberately undercut the president repeatedly as Speaker. During the 2016 presidential campaign, Ryan infamously cut ties with Trump and abandoned the now-president’s campaign in early October over the release of the notorious Access Hollywood tape. In leaked audio of Ryan with House Republican members obtained by Breitbart News and published in early 2017, the Speaker threw in with the Never Trump movement by declaring he would never side with the president.”

The immigration debate is the giant “elephant in the room.” So is the problem of our homeless veterans, our other homeless, our own children, the problems here at home that need addressing. The security of America is at stake. We need to take care of our own before even thinking about illegal immigrants.

Rick Ferran, (aka Tank) founder of Uncle Sam’s Misguided Children, has a take on the immigration fiasco that Paul Ryan is trying to pass:
