The Huffington Post released an article by someone you never heard of stating that a celebrity who goes by the name Moby visited DC and spoke to friends who told him that The Donald was being blackmailed by the Russians. Moby is a disk jockey, not a radio station disk jockey but a fake musician disk jockey that makes records just the same:
Electronic music artist Moby claims to have accurate information regarding Donald Trump and his alleged ties to Russia…”The russian (sic) dossier on trump (sic) is real. 100% real. he’s being blackmailed by the russian (sic) government, not just for being peed on by russian (sic) hookers, but for much more nefarious things,” the artist wrote, adding, “the trump (sic) administration is in collusion with the russian (sic) government, and has been since day one.”
Now he’s an “Electronic music artist” which means he’s no artist, musician and doubtful an electrician. But he does visit friends in Washington who are probably as pretentious as he is without a last name. Also Moby thinks that being “peed on by Russian hookers” is not nefarious enough and in his sordid world he’s probably right. The “journalist” didn’t mention that the hooker story was a Buzzfeed article later picked up by CNN and exposed as false. Doesn’t matter. It’s fit to print anyway even though it’s fake by a fake artist who makes a claim based on an already exposed fake article.
(Ed. note: And he apparently never learned rules regarding capitalization…)
And so it was a delight to see President Donald call out the media in a recent press conference. He also looked like he was having fun and was. He accurately predicted that the next days headlines will have a made-up story that he was “ranting and raving.”
But the Fake Bakery is relentless. Note that the Associated Press released a story that Trump will allegedly release 100,000 National Guard troops to round up illegals:
The Trump administration considered a proposal to mobilize as many as 100,000 National Guard troops to round up unauthorized immigrants, including millions living nowhere near the Mexico border, according to a draft memo obtained by The Associated Press…Staffers in the Department of Homeland Security said the proposal had been discussed as recently as last Friday. The 11-page document calls for the unprecedented militarization of immigration enforcement as far north as Portland, Oregon, and as far east as New Orleans, Louisiana. Four states that border on Mexico were included in the proposal — California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas — but it also encompasses seven states contiguous to those four — Oregon, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana.
How does the AP vet such a story? Well, they corroborate only to find that it can’t be:
White House spokesman Sean Spicer said Friday the document was “not a White House document.”…”There is no effort to do what is potentially suggested,” he said. Spicer called the AP report “100 percent not true, adding that there was “no effort at all to utilize the National Guard to round up unauthorized immigrants.”…A DHS official described the document as a very early draft that was not seriously considered and never brought to the secretary for approval.
Then decide to release it anyway.
Why? Because the media is the information center for liberal-land. Nothing has to be true, per se, it just has to do the necessary damage to anyone they don’t like and they certainly hate the president. We now have a Republican president that is finally calling them out on it and doing so in a style where he is saying to them what all of us awful right-wingers would prefer to say if we were there. And they are so enraged over it. It’s a delight to see.
