Happy Independence Day! Spend time with family and friends, enjoy the fireworks, and be sure to take in a parade or two if you can.
By the way, in case you didn’t know, July 4th parades actually do help the GOP. Seriously.
From Examiner, July 2011:
If a new Harvard University study is correct, parents who support Barack Obama and Democrats in general may want to keep their children at home this Fourth of July.
According to US News and World Report, the study found that July 4th parades “energize only Republicans,” while turning children into Republicans, and helps boost GOP turnout of adults on Election Day.

So have a safe, fun and patriotic Fourth of July, and while you’re at it, take the day off from Facebook.
