GOP Rep. Introduces Resolution to REMOVE Nancy Pelosi From House

A Republican lawmaker from Louisiana has submitted a resolution to remove Speaker Nancy Pelosi from the House of Representatives.

Rep. Ralph Abraham introduced his proposal, which has little chance of moving forward, in response to Pelosi’s initiation of an impeachment inquiry, something he defines as a “vicious crusade” against President Trump.

The resolution states that “Representative Nancy Pelosi, be, and she hereby is, expelled from the House of Representatives and the Office of the Speaker is declared to be vacant.”

In a statement declaring why he had taken such a bold stance against the Speaker, Abraham elucidated that “Pelosi’s vicious crusade against our lawfully-elected President is nothing more than a politically-motivated witch hunt and it must be stopped.”

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

He added, “She has disgraced the people’s House and weaponized the Speaker’s gavel for her party’s political gain.”

There is nothing untrue about Abraham’s statement.

That said, it has zero chance of advancing. It would need some sort of support from Republicans who seem more intent on criticizing the President than they are on criticizing the impeachment charade.

Fox News reports that the resolution “has been closely held, and hasn’t secured many Republican cosponsors – but that Abraham’s office expects it to gain traction.”

Good luck with that. He has one co-sponsor on the bill at present – Rep. Rick Allen (R-GA).

“House Democrats spent nearly three years obsessed with election meddling only to dwarf any such efforts with their own deceitful plan to nullify the 2016 election and prevent President Trump from winning in 2020,” Abraham railed.

Again – accurate – but too many Republican lawmakers allow people like Pelosi and Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, Rep. Adam Schiff, to get away with their actions.

Part of the plan to ‘nullify the 2016 election’ has involved Schiff blatantly lying to Congress and Pelosi swearing to it.

Schiff undeniably, definitively, and provably fabricated quotes in a fictitious phone call between President Trump and Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky as he led off a Congressional hearing two weeks ago.

When ABC News’ anchor George Stephanopoulus confronted Pelosi on Schiff’s lies, she herself lied.

“Those weren’t the president’s words,” Stephanopoulus contended.

“He did not make it up,” Pelosi insisted.

They’re lying to Congress and perhaps worse, lying to the American people all in the hopes of overturning an election their party lost.

Abraham was also one of 91 Republicans to sign on to condemn Schiff for making up the phone conversation.
