‘Gonna Put A Bullet In You’: Veteran Of CNN, ABC, NBC ‘Threatens Life Of Matt Gaetz’

This story was originally published by the WND News Center.

A former camera operator for CNN and at least two other television networks has been arrested for allegedly threatening the lives of U.S. Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., and his children.

The PostMillennial reported the suspect was identified at Eugene Huelsman, 58, who has worked of CNN, ABC and NBC.

“Tell (MG) to watch his back, tell him to watch his children… I’m coming for him… I’m gonna f***ing kill him… I’m gonna put a bullet in you and I’m gonna put a bullet in one of your f***ing kids too,” the suspect allegedly warned.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

The threats came shortly after the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol.

However, the report explains another man who allegedly threatened Gaetz remains on the streets “after the Department of Justice blocked the U.S. Capitol Police’s recommendation for arrest.”

Huelsman was arrested recently in Los Angeles after the indictment was returned by a federal grand jury in Pensacola, Florida, several months ago.

Fox News reported Huelsman is a veteran of the television show Late Night with Conan O’Brien.

The report said the indictment doesn’t name Gaetz, but prosecutors confirmed that Huelsman was the person who called the office of a person identified as “MG.”

It was only days ago that Gaetz, on the House floor, “described threats made against him by another individual who threatened to kill him over Twitter and had traveled to Washington D.C. in order to do so,” the report said.

He explained, “I think someone may be trying to kill me and if they are successful I would like my constituents and my family to know who stopped their arrest.”

Gaetz then reported the DOJ refused to arrest the suspect despite a recommendation from police.

He later explained the two episodes were not related.

The New York Post noted Gaetz was concerned: “An indictment was issued in May, and has now been unsealed the week after my criticism. If they took our security seriously, they would arrest all of the people who violate federal law and the threats to kill us, not just some of them … I think that the Department of Justice is biased against Republicans.”

The Washington Examiner noted Huelsman is to appear before a judge in Florida on Friday.

In the House, Gaetz cited the other “credible threat” from a Twitter user who allegedly sent a message “saying he had accepted a hit job on Gaetz.”

Actually, Gaetz married only months ago and doesn’t have children yet.
