Former VP Biden Tweets About Memorial Day, But MIA?

Where was former VP Joe Biden on Memorial Day? He didn’t show up to any public events, and only put out one tweet on Monday, May 27. As a Presidential Candidate, that seems odd. Aren’t they supposed to be in parades or smooching babies? (OK in his case, let’s skip that part).

Breitbart noted that the former VP had no campaign events on his public calendar for the entire Memorial Day weekend. His last event was a week ago Saturday. Most of the other candidates visited cemeteries, rode in parades, or whatever was likely to get their names in the public eye. They even made a video – most of them except Biden:

Joe Biden promised to work harder and longer than any other candidate, yet disappeared from the public view for a weekend. President Trump calls him various names, said he was a “disaster” as Vice President, which horrified Democrats. Of course, then the President sided with Kim Jong Un’s description of Biden as “low IQ.” Biden did not respond to the digs.

Breitbart reported:

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

“I promise you this – no one – no one – is going to work longer and campaign harder to win your trust and support than this son of Catherine Eugenia and Joseph Biden!” Biden boasted in his speech.

After attending a pair of fundraisers early last week in Florida, the former vice president went dark.

The Biden campaign did not respond to a request for comment from Breitbart News.

Mayor Pete Buttigieg attended a Memorial Day wreath-laying ceremony and a parade in South Bend, Indiana, on Monday, and Sen. Bernie Sanders held a series of ice cream socials with voters in New Hampshire on Monday and outlined his anti-war foreign policy on Sunday.

His son, Beau Biden, died in 2015 from brain cancer. But Beau had served in the Delaware Army National Guard as a Captain, and was deployed to Iraq in an administrative capacity in 2008. It seems odd that Biden would skip all the remembrances.

Hopefully former VP “Uncle Joe” is not sick, er… ill. Who would Republicans pick on then? As for Memorial Day, it is more than BBQs, although those are great ways to get together with family and friends.

Alejandro Villanueva shared this video. Joe, take note.
