A mall Santa in Sanford, Florida, was fired and sent to counseling after he allegedly told a young girl that Democrat Hillary Clinton was the only name placed on his “naughty list,” ClickOrlando reported Friday.

According to ClickOrlando:

The mother told Towne Center management the incident happened Tuesday night when she brought two of her children to see Santa.

She said when her 10-year-old daughter told him what she wanted for Christmas, he told her she was on his nice list.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

She said he then asked her, “Do you know who is on my naughty list? Hillary Clinton.” The girl said he then laughed.

The girl’s mother called management, and a representative told News 6 that mall officials called the company that hired Santa.

The Noerr Program, Inc., the outfit that provides Santas to malls, said the Santa in question told them it was just a joke, but they removed him after the girl’s mother called to complain.

Spokesman Charlie Russell said the company apologized to the family and sent the Santa to human resources for counseling.  It’s uncertain if the Santa is returning to the mall, Russell added.

According to News 6, a replacement Santa was spotted at the mall.

Exit question: Would the Santa have been fired if he said this about Donald Trump?
