Remember the brouhaha created by that Atlantic report that claimed President Trump called fallen soldiers, “losers?” Even though that report has been thoroughly debunked, a number of leftists, including Democrat Joe Biden and lying propagandists in the lying liberal media, continue to push the false narrative. Now, video has surfaced in which Biden — as Vice President — referred to troops as “stupid bastards” to their faces during a speech in 2016.
According to a report at The Blaze (Emphasis added):
The video shows Biden and his wife Jill Biden at a podium addressing military members.
“And I want you to know notwithstanding what you may hear about me, I have incredibly good judgment. One, I married Jill. And two, I appointed Johnson to the academy. I just want you to know that. Clap for that, you stupid bastards,” he says on the video.
He had more to say.
“Come on, man. Man, you are a dull bunch. Must be slow here, man. I don’t know,” he added.

According to the left-wing Daily Beast, the Biden campaign confirmed the comment, but claimed it was made in jest.
“Vice President Biden was jokingly encouraging the audience to clap for an airwoman on the stage, and a number of service members can be seen laughing and smiling at the comment. Seconds before, he praised them for ‘the incredible sacrifices [they] make for our country,’” said Biden campaign spokesperson Andrew Bates.
Yeah, right. As if THAT explanation would ever work for Trump.
Saying the Biden video has been online since about 2017, the Daily Beast, naturally, continued to push the false and debunked Atlantic narrative:
The newly pushed tape comes as Biden has been strongly defending the country’s soldiers over the past several weeks, following President Donald Trump’s comments captured by “multiple sources” who spoke to The Atlantic, where he reportedly called those killed in combat “losers” and “suckers.”
Exit question: Will the lying liberal media make as much noise about this as it did the false Atlantic piece? Let’s just say we’re not going to hold our breath.
