Fake News Media Losing Narrative Control As Conservatives Get Better At Hitting Back (Video)

It was almost a ‘given’, before Trump came along, that media types would kick sand in the face of conservative candidates with impunity. Once the ‘Charles Atlas’ solution to the beach bully caught on, the game would change forever.

The ‘lock’ the media once enjoyed on gatekeeping our information has long since failed. They tried to reassert it through a big tech takeover but a certain billionaire with an interest in free speech and rocketry didn’t just foil that plan, he laid it bare for all to see.

As many as were willing to see, at least.

Just like Charles Atlas famously offered his workout program to give the skinny kid on the beach a fighting chance with the local bully, Trump blazed a trail where he found success not in minimizing the hostility from the press, but from MAXIMIZING it and showing them up as the clowns they are.

It was a daring strategy. The kind that could being political careers to a grinding halt forever. But Trump was already big enough that they couldn’t land the fatal blow… and more importantly he kept proving his critics wrong.

Wrong about what people would think about him.
Wrong about the accusations against him.
Wrong about the impact of his policies.

He would feed off the conflict and get stronger because of it.

It used to be easy for them to shade the truth to deflect damning data that might hurt Dems, or misquote leaders to make innocuous statements seem sinister, or to distract from important issues by turning all of their attention to trivialities.

We see each of those scenarios in the clips we’ve used for this story.

But what’s most encouraging isn’t that the ‘all-stars’ are learning how to apply this strategy’. It’s how the ‘nice’ guys best known for brokering peace are catching on, too.

Sure, it’s only natural to see people with the kind of chops that JD Vance has…

… to keep running circles around the media talking heads. It’s fun watching them defang the shameless Dem talking points, like the crazy claim Walz and company are making that Trump wants to turn the military loose on the American public for some reason.

But to see someone like a GOP House Speaker who isn’t afraid to call them out on their BS…? That’s actual evidence of a real change in the culture within the party. We’re no longer running scared of the power of negative press.

Speaker Mike Johnston — love him or hate him, is hardly a firebrand politician. But here he is pushing back hard on the partisanship of a one of the supposedly impartial Sunday news shows on NBC.

The American people are concerned about the skyrocketing cost of living and high prices for gas and groceries because of failed Biden-Harris policies.

No one cares about Trump’s cholesterol.

The media has lost its mojo. And people are starting to notice.
