FAA declares Bundy ranch a no-fly zone
On Friday, the FAA issued a notice declaring the area of the Bundy ranch a no-fly zone. This means that only federal aircraft are allowed to fly in the area up to an altitude of 3000 feet.
The notice, called a “NOTAM,” says:

PURSUANT TO 14 CFR SECTION 91.137(A)(1) TEMPORARY FLIGHT RESTRICTIONS ARE IN EFFECT. ONLY RELIEF AIRCRAFT OPERATIONS UNDER DIRECTION OF BLM ARE AUTHORIZED IN THE AIRSPACE.
