A Fort Bliss Soldier, Pvt. 1st Class Glendon Oakley Jr., is being hailed as a hero after the El Paso Shooting on August 3. At the same time, the shooter was identified as Patrick Crusius, whom the President called a coward. The death toll from the shooting climbed to 20, with 26 injured.
The Hero
Pvt. 1st Class Glendon Oakley Jr was at the Footlocker in the Cielo Vista Mall when a “little kid” walked into the store to tell the people about an active shooter. Oakley at first didn’t believe him, but as soon as he heard the pop pop pop of the gun shots, he drew his gun, lifted the gate of the Footlocker, and headed for the parking lot. But he saw so many children without parents that he gathered up as many as possible.

“I’m in the military, so when I hear gunshots, I just think ‘take cover.’ But I was so worried about those kids…I saw a whole bunch of kids running around without their parents … I tried to pick up as many as I could and bring them with me.” Glendon Oakley Jr
He said at first when he reached the parking lot, the police thought he was with the gunman, but a short conversation and showing of his carry license handled that quickly. He said everyone in the mall was “so scared.” He stated that he was just worried about the children.
This man is an American hero. During the mass shooting in El Paso, he acted to save as many children as possible and used his legally owned weapon to help.

Oakley’s story began circulating as news of the shooting spread, with many on social media calling for more coverage of his heroic actions in lieu of details of the shooter’s life.
Fort Bliss officials did not issue an official statement about Oakley’s actions, but did confirm his status in the Army. They also noted that he has received the National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal and the Army Service Ribbon.
The coward
Patrick Cruisus of Allen, Texas, was identified as the suspect in the El Paso shooting, according to Heavy.com. Because he left a manifesto that mentioned hating Mexicans, Democrats immediately hopped on it as all Trump’s fault. You can read the full manifesto at this link. Authorities described it as a “nexus to a hate crime,” according to Fox.
The sad fact is, Crusius chose to be the sick creep who killed. That’s the bottom line. His original profile on MyLife listed him as a registered Democrat and was later changed by some leftist morons trying to make him look like a Republican, according to the Gateway Pundit. He’s a nothing more and nothing less than a coward murderer.
