Don’t Mess With Mama! Armed Pregnant Woman Takes Down Armed Robber At Gas Station (Video)

On June 27, a nine-month pregnant woman took down a would be armed robber when he tried to control her at a Houston gas station.

In the clip below, the woman can be seen talking to the man who gets out of his car and steps up on the inside of runner, placing his handgun under his arm.  Another man approached and the armed suspect stepped away from his vehicle to confront the woman and the man, who later was identified as her husband.

That’s when the woman reached into her purse and calmly drew her weapon.

She fired at that armed man and he attempted to flee, falling behind a vehicle, face first, onto the pavement, clearly shot due to the blood on his shirt and pavement.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

He continued to try and reach for his gun, which he dropped as he fell.

The man who he assaulted, grabbed his gun,  and stepped out of the sight of the camera as the pregnant woman held her gun on the downed would-be robber.

The pregnant woman was at the gas station to drop off food for her husband who works at the store.

The woman told ABC 13: “I got out of my car, and immediately, the guy in the passenger seat of the silver car got out with an AR and told me that I startled him. You know, he said it in a more vocal way.”

“No, they were not taking out my baby daddy before 11 July,” the woman added.

According to the husband, a bystander told the suspected robber: “Hey man, if you think you’re dying, you might as well pray to God for forgiveness.”

Mario Ipina Duque, 39, is facing charges for attempted robbery, according to a press release by the Houston Police Department.  He was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and unlawful carrying of a weapon in the 230 State District Court.

“HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at a gas station at the above address and found a male and a female holding a suspect at gunpoint,” a press release stated.  The suspect, later identified as Duque, had sustained several gunshot wounds.”

The press release continued, “Officers immediately provided medical assistance to Duque. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and transported Duque to the hospital. Both the male and female were detained at the scene and weapons were recovered.”

“Further investigation determined Duque displayed a weapon and threatened to kill the male,” the press release added.  “Duque then struck the male with the pistol. The female and the male both produced weapons and, in self-defense, shot Duque. They then held Duque at gunpoint and called 9-1-1.”

Another suspect was said to be armed with an AR style rifle but fled the scene.  Police are still looking for him.
