A new Rasmussen survey released less than 48 hours before Democrat Joe Biden will be sworn in as the next U.S. president shows a majority of his party think American society “is basically unfair and discriminatory.”
The survey results were released Monday morning revealing that 54 percent of “likely U.S. voters” say American society is “generally fair and decent,” while 38 percent disagree. But it is among Democrats where the scale is most out of balance, with 54 percent of identified Democrats giving American society a thumbs down on fairness and equality.
Meanwhile, 72 percent of Republicans believe the country is fair and decent, along with 51 percent of independents.
So, which party is more out of touch with reality?
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
That may make a big difference during the next 100 days with Biden and far-left Vice President Kamala Harris in charge of a Capitol building surrounded by chain link fence, thousands of armed National Guardsmen and police, and Democrat majorities in both houses of Congress.
According to Fox Nation host Lawrence Jones, the “next 100 days are going to be pretty bad if you’re a conservative.” That could probably go double for gun owners, who are preparing for an onslaught against their constitutional rights such as the nation has not seen before. The Biden-Harris plan for gun owners has been online for months, and CFL has reported on it several times.
Now, the Second Amendment Foundation is running its second week of one-minute advertising on more than a dozen networks. The commercial is running a total of 79 times this week on these networks DirecTV, Fox News, Fox Business, CNN, MSNBC, The Weather Channel, One America News Network, CNBC, HLN, Bloomberg and Dish TV, plus the Outdoor Channel and Sportsman Channel. It ran 40 times during the first week, and SAF’s Alan Gottlieb told CFL the response was very good.
“We’re reaching from coast to coast and deep into America’s Heartland in an effort to bring tens of thousands of grassroots gun rights activists to the front lines of a battle to protect our Second Amendment from Joe Biden and Kamala Harris,” Gottlieb said.
“Biden and Harris have been alarmingly clear about their gun control and confiscation plans,” he continued. “Biden wants to regulate and tax popular firearms and their magazines under the National Firearms Act, or mandate they be turned in through a so-called ‘gun buyback’ program that amounts to compensated confiscation. Our campaign is alerting the nation about the extremist Biden-Harris agenda.
“Their radical wish list includes one-gun-a-month restrictions, a semi-auto ban, magazine limits, mandatory licensing in order to purchase a firearm, prohibitive gun taxes, and invasive background checks and indeterminate waiting periods, just to exercise a right that is supposed to be protected from such demagoguery by the Second Amendment,” Gottlieb stated. “Biden and Harris want to turn a fundamental right into a regulated privilege, and our ‘2nd Amendment First Responder’ campaign fights that scheme.”
Democrats may believe they have a mandate, but the Rasmussen survey suggests they may be mistaken. And with gun rights activists preparing for political warfare, there is no certainty they will be able to move Biden’s gun control agenda very far forward.
The nation will have a better handle on this by Thursday.
