Was Barack Obama complicit with Hillary Clinton and the DNC in bankrolling the fake Trump dossier? By now, you surely know that both Hillary Clinton and the DNC paid around $12 million to the law firm of Perkins Coie to make up lies about Donald Trump. But there may have been another contributor. OFA (Obama for America) paid Perkins Coie $972,000 for “legal work” in April of 2016. Coincidentally or not, that is the precise time that Hillary and the DNC started laundering money through the law firm to pay for the fake dossier.
Remember, this came towards the very end of his presidency and nearly a million dollars is a lot of legal work. OFA listed the payments exactly the same way that Hillary and the DNC did. And precisely at the same time. The Federalist laid out the timeline.
OFA, Obama’s official campaign arm in 2016, paid nearly $800,000 to Perkins Coie in 2016 alone, according to FEC records. The first 2016 payments to Perkins Coie, classified only as “Legal Services,” were made April 25-26, 2016, and totaled $98,047. A second batch of payments, also classified as “Legal Services,” were disbursed to the law firm on September 29, 2016, and totaled exactly $700,000. Payments from OFA to Perkins Coie in 2017 totaled $174,725 through August 22, 2017.
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
FEC records as well as federal court records show that Marc Elias, the Perkins Coie lawyer whom the Washington Post reported was responsible for the payments to Fusion GPS on behalf of Clinton’s campaign and the DNC, also previously served as a counsel for OFA. In Shamblin v. Obama for America, a 2013 case in federal court in Florida, federal court records list Elias as simultaneously serving as lead attorney for both OFA and the DNC.
OFA, which managed Obama’s successful re-election campaign in 2012, retooled after that campaign to focus on enacting the president’s agenda during his final term in office. The group reorganized again after the 2016 election and planned to use its staff and resources to oppose President Donald Trump. During the entire 2016 campaign cycle, the group spent only $4.5 million, according to FEC records.
The other thing you need to take into account is that at about the same time, the Obama administration began unmasking members of the Trump campaign. That would make it appear that Hillary colluded with the Russians, the DNC and Obama to affect the outcome of the 2016 presidential election.
Three important questions:
- How much did Obama know and when did he know it?
- Did OFA know they were funding the anti-Trump operation?
- Did the Obama administration use unverified intelligence gathered in the dossier to justify government surveillance on members of the Trump campaign?
This could possibly be the largest political scandal of all time. Remember, Watergate was just the cover up of a botched burglary. Between the Trump dossier, the unmasking, Hillary’s bribes for US uranium and use of a private server makes it a pretty safe bet that any scandal that becomes the biggest of all time will involve Hillary Clinton. Gee, what a shock. You could have knocked me over with a Sherman tank.
