The Center for Security Policy has reported that Lanny Davis, a top Democrat strategist, has laid out plans for states to secede from the United States of America and “form our own country”, and yes, you read that right.
Davis, a longtime strategist for Bill and Hillary Clinton, posted on his Twitter account a message that read: “DEAR RED STATES; WE’RE LEAVING.We’ve decided we’re leaving. We intend to form our own country, we’re taking the other Blue States with us…that includes Hawaii, Oregon, California, New Mexico, Washington, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, and all the Northeast.”

Lanny Davis, a longtime strategist with Bill and Hillary Clinton, has ratcheted up candidate Joe Biden’s call for the military to overthrow President Trump in January, and has called for liberal states to secede and set up their own country.
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
Davis echoes a “Calexit” plan sponsored in Russia for California to secede and form its own country.
Davis served as White House special counsel under President Bill Clinton. His statements follow a Russia-sponsored political warfare effort aimed at the US in 2016.

“Four years ago, one of the most outlandish aspects of Russia’s interference efforts centered on cultivating and inflaming separatist movements across the U.S., especially in places like Texas and California,” the Daily Beast reported last March. “Now, it looks like it’s happening all over again.”
Russia has sponsored events for white supremacists and neo-Nazis to have Texas join California in seceding from the United States, the liberal Think Progress reported in 2018.
Now one of the Democrat Party’s top strategists has begun pushing the idea.
