Democrat Andrew Yang suggests possible confiscation/buyback of cars at climate change forum

During a seven-hour climate change town hall on CNN, Democrat hopeful Andrew Yang told us that we would all love driving our electric cars.

He fell just short of saying we would have to give up using vehicles that run on gasoline, but did suggest a government buy-back to help pay for the “upgrade.”  Of course, he failed to mention that the government didn’t own the vehicles to start with.

“There will still be some legacy gas guzzlers on the road for quite some time,” he said, telling Wolf Blitzer that this is not a country where people’s cars are just going to be taken.

Here’s video, posted by the Daily Wire’s Ryan Saavedra:

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Reaction on Twitter was pretty much what you’d expect, but this was my personal favorite:

That’s pretty much it.

Indeed.

Note to Andrew Yang: Hands off my Ford pickup!

This, by the way, is the modern, authoritarian Democrat Party, which now seeks to shred the Constitution and strip us of our rights as well as everything we worked so hard to buy…

How much more of this insanity must the country endure?
