Dem Rep. Jerrold Nadler: ‘No problem’ with Ilhan Omar’s offensive 9/11 comment, calls Trump a thief

While appearing on Sunday’s edition of CNN’s “State of the Union,” Jerrold Nadler, Google’s bought-and-paid-for Democrat House member from New York, told host Jake Tapper he has absolutely no problem with Rep. Ilhan Omar’s dismissive and offensive characterization of the September 11, 2001 terror attack as, “some people did something.” He also accused President Trump of being a thief.
“No, I did not,” Nadler said when Tapper asked if he took issue with Omar’s comment.
According to Nadler, the freshman anti-Semite from Minnesota was simply trying to show how people used the attack as an excuse for discrimination.
“She characterized it only in passing,” he said. “She was talking about discrimination against Muslim Americans. And she just said after that happened, it was used as an excuse for lots of discrimination and withdrawal of civil liberties.”
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
“I’ve had some problems with some of her other remarks, but not with that one,” Nadler said.
One person who posted video of his comment to Twitter suggested it be used as a reminder that Nadler represents the 9/11 district…
.@jaketapper: Did you take any issue with the way congresswoman @IlhanMN characterized 911?@JerryNadler: No.
This is your daily reminder that Nadler is the representative of the 9/11 district.

Nadler also falsely accused the president of stealing $150,000 in grant money after the attack.
“He stole $150,000 from some small businessperson who could have used it to help rehabilitate himself. And that’s why we appropriated it, why I got Congress to appropriate that money. To use it for his own small business of 40 Wall Street, he has no moral authority to be talking about 9/11 at all,” he said, according to a CNN rush transcript of the episode.
Tapper, of course, did not question Nadler’s assertion, but, the New York Post tells us:
Fact-checking website Snopes had previously investigated the claim that the president improperly received $150,000 after 9/11 and found that the grant money wasn’t specifically earmarked for small businesses, nor was it improperly accessed by Trump.
It would seem that facts to Nadler is like sunlight to a vampire…
