Dem Rep Jamaal Bowman Pulls Fire Alarm, Claims He Thought Door Would Open

Rep Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) pulled a fire alarm on Saturday as the House was casting votes on the bill to prevent a government shutdown. He was caught on security footage doing so. He then claimed that he thought he was opening the door. That answer didn’t float well in the House. Bowman was a former middle school Principal, and unless he is too dumb to read the big red word “Fire” on the alarm, something is amiss.

“That any member of Congress would think it’s appropriate to pull a fire alarm to try and delay Congress from doing its business is shameful. It’s unbecoming. And he should strongly consider resigning from Congress if he did that.” Rep Mike Lawler (R-NY) –Fox

“I’m hearing Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) was CAUGHT ON CAMERA pulling the fire alarm in a House Office Building to delay the CR vote. IF TRUE: he should be charged with obstructing an official proceeding which is a FELONY. As a former Sheriff, I’d happily slap the cuffs on him.” Rep Troy Nehls (R-TX)

Rep Nicole Malliotakis will introduce a resolution to expel him from the House of Representatives.

Newsy: Rep. Malliotakis (R-NY) is drafting a resolution to have Rep. Bowman expelled, her spox Natalie Baldassarre tells me.

Rep. Lisa McClain is also drafting a resolution to censure him, her office confirms.

In case you’re wondering, pulling a fire alarm in the halls of Congress during an important vote is tantamount to obstructing official business. The attempt to delay the vote is a federal felony. Ask any of those charged for that same thing from January 6, 2021.  “Nobody is above the law,” Bowman has stated over and over again. It’s time to face the music.

Bowman- a House “Squad” member -has repeatedly demanded that Justice Clarence Thomas be impeached.  Some other Congressional members are demanding he be held accountable. After the hysteria of the Democrats over Jan 6, we agree – Bowman should face serious punishment.

P.S. – The House did pass a “clean” Continuing Resolution with no money for Ukraine. It has no chance in the Senate.
