On March 11, 2024 an executive order (14199) went into effect that expanded the Federal Apprenticeship Program. Not a problem, right? Doesn’t everyone deserve the ability to move forward in the workplace? Of course they do! Except there’s a DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) catch in it. And with all of the other regulations pushed by the Biden regime, it simply adds more hurdles to our infrastructure and industries – and they are designed to help in destroying America.
The DEI connections that are destroying America
“It is the policy of my Administration to promote Registered Apprenticeships to meet employer needs while investing in workers’ skills; reducing employment barriers; and promoting job quality, equity, inclusion, and accessibility for the benefit of the Federal Government and the Nation. Further, it is the policy of my Administration to establish cooperative and productive labor-management relations throughout the executive branch.” EO 14199
The EO is ‘nested’ under EO 14035, the DEI order from June 2021. Skilled labor should be the goal of any action by the administration, but instead we have a push toward diversity, equity, and inclusion. That thrust is proving to be a disaster.
The Collapsed Francis Scott Key Bridge

Wes Moore (D) put a diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) consultant on the Maryland Port Commission just months before a container ship crashed into Baltimore’s Francis Scott Key Bridge. The supply chain on the East Coast and beyond now hangs in the balance as authorities will have to swiftly undertake complex feats of engineering to reopen the port and, eventually, the bridge.” Daily Wire
She hasn’t been there long enough to affect much in the way of the bridge itself and no, it’s not her fault it collapsed. The issue is that she has no expertise in Maritime issues or bridges. Others on the commission do. She is known as a public speaker, not an expert in anything to do with ports or supply chain, or disasters. She can talk your leg off about DEI, but as far as “consulting” about a bridge collapse, forget about it.
It just another example of how the focus on DEI is destroying America. From companies like Boeing, to Federal agencies like the FAA or many other agencies who fell under Biden’s mandate to hire DEI, America is in trouble.
