Crossdressing in the US Intelligence Service?

"I think crossdressing has made me a better officer."

Feeling like America is doomed today after reading about a newsletter put out by the DEI office of the US Intelligence Service. It read, “I think crossdressing has made me a better officer.” (Breitbart) The newsletter had nothing to do intelligence activities or even tips for working in that field. It talked about how one official decided that crossdressing helped him be a better officer, and how words matter, and how to revise how we speak about others to be “more inclusive.”

“My experiences dressing in feminine clothing have helped me recognize and overcome my own identity-based biases and mindsets. Crossdressing has helped me understand that other people–including those we study in the IC–experience the world differently. Many in the international relations and national security fields call this strategic empathy-the practice of looking at issues from another person’s perspective, used to better understand foreign actors.” Unnamed intelligence official in The Dive DEI Newsletter

Here are screenshots from some of the pages of the newsletter (via Fox News):

Is this how we came to the “intelligence failures” of the last few years? If the intelligence community is so focused on social justice issues instead of keeping their “ear to the ground” to prevent terror attacks or any other dangerous incidents worldwide?…

Strategic empathy… for crossdressing?

According to a Fox News Digital review of the document, the internal newsletter, The Dive, highlighted several left-wing initiatives and was circulated throughout the U.S. spy apparatus by the Intelligence Community Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility Office.

It is housed in the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), a Cabinet-level position that oversees the intelligence community. The document’s theme is “the importance of words,” focusing on ways spy agencies can be more inclusive.

“This issue of The Dive highlights some … initiatives to improve the accuracy of the language we use on other topics; these are a sampling and are not comprehensive of all the great work being done across our agencies,” the newsletter’s unnamed editor-in-chief wrote in the document.” Fox

Truthfully, the DEI newsletter that referenced crossdressing was possibly written outside of standard intelligence rules. It is likely that most members of the intelligence community would not endorse it. But the fact that this section of our government has such a “woke” department is extremely concerning.
