Conservative Org: Kamala Has Some Explaining to do About Family Business Deals with China

On Tuesday, Americans for Limited Government President Rick Manning responded to a media report tying Kamala Harris’s husband to potentially shady Chinese business deals in the United States:

“Democrat vice presidential nominee Kamala Harris has some serious questions to answer about her family’s business dealings with China.

“Her husband, Douglas Emhoff, is a partner in DLA Piper’s Intellectual Property and Technology practice, a firm with extensive ties to China.

“Given that China’s intellectual property theft is one of our primary trade issues, it is disconcerting, at best, if her husband has been assisting the Communist Chinese Party in getting around our patent laws.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

“What’s more, DLA Piper is directly involved in the financial integration of the United States with China at a time when Americans are demanding that supply chains for items like pharmaceutical products be brought home from China and that our retirement  accounts and other individual investments be protected from unsafe Chinese assets.

“Harris must provide a full and complete disclosure of her personal ties to Beijing, as China continues its efforts to not only influence U.S. public policy but to achieve economic and military dominance over the United States and indeed the world.”

According to the National Pulse, “it’s not surprising … that American DLA Piper lawyers have worked on behalf of the Chinese government. Consultant James Phillips, for example, identifies himself as having ‘advised’ the Chinese Embassy in Canberra, Australia.”

The report further states:

DLA Piper has engaged in a bevy of business deals that have left them on the payroll of the Chinese Communist Payroll.

The company listed itself as an adviser to two government-owned airlines: China Eastern Airlines and China Southern Airlines.

DLA Piper has also advised China Merchants Group (CMG), a state-owned company “under the direct supervision” of the Chinese Communist Party’s State Council, on a $2.5 billion tech deal. CMG also identifies itself as a “crucial participant and promoter of the national initiative of the Belt and Road,” the Chinese Communist Party’s scheme to expand its economic and political control across the developing world.

The firm has also advised Huarong Investment Stock Corporation Limited, a subsidiary of one of China’s largest state-owned bad debt managers, and China National Gold Group, a state-owned mining and refining company.

Tencent, the host of the WeChat app which is set to banned by the Trump administration for its compromising links to the Chinese Communist Party, partnered with DLA Piper on a $230 million deal with the Chinese tech giant’s food delivery app known as Miss Fresh.

Yes, it certainly seems that Harris has a lot of explaining to do.  Especially since the Chinese Communists have stated they want Biden to win.

Exit question: Will lying liberal propagandists in the lying liberal media ever confront Harris about this?  Something tells us they won’t.
