Commiefornia has banned singing or chanting inside houses of worship, but has no problem with shouting, shreiking, and yelling during mass protests. (Sacramento Bee) In other words, you are free to go to church in California under stringent restrictions on congregation size, but you can’t talk, sing, chant, hug, or anything else that is deemed to “spread COVID-19.”
The Health order from July 1 states in part,
*Places of worship must therefore discontinue singing and chanting activities and limit indoor attendance to 25% of building capacity or a maximum of 100 attendees, whichever is lower. Local Health Officers are advised to consider appropriate limitations on outdoor attendance capacities, factoring their jurisdiction’s key COVID19 health indicators. At a minimum, outdoor attendance should be limited naturally through implementation of strict physical distancing measures of a minimum of six feet between attendees from different households, in addition to other relevant protocols within this document.
Robert Tyler, President of Advocates for Faith and Freedom wrote in a newsletter:
” Let me be clear, the State DOES NOT have the jurisdiction to ban houses of worship from singing praises to God.
Chanting and shouting are allowed at mass protests but singing or chanting in church with a mask and social distancing is forbidden. While California continues to allow abortion clinics, liquor stores, and marijuana dispensaries to freely operate, they simultaneously ban singing praise and worship to honor God. This is nothing short of arbitrary, capricious, and tyrannical government behavior.  Governor Newsom does not have the authority to issue this ban or enforce it. Our lawyers continue to press forward by challenging the limitation on houses of worship of 25% capacity or 100 people, whichever is less. We filed a lawsuit against the State last month to challenge the arbitrary limitation. We are also involved in a lawsuit against Santa Clara County, which currently has a limit on religious gatherings to 25 people and only allows outdoor services.”
Communists as a group are rabid secularists, and Commiefornia is the same. People may laugh at the term “commiefornia” but it is true. Governor Newsom, along with the California Health Department, have seized the carrot of COVID-19 and are using it as a political weapon against ordinary Americans. Californians must grab some courage, stand up against the egregious actions of Democrats and fight back. The alternative is submission to that “arbitrary, capricious, and tyrannical government behavior.”

A sharply divided Supreme Court has already allowed Commiefornia to continue their rampage against churches after Roberts once again joined with the liberals on the court. The excuse of COVID-19 is lame. But will that change after the protests that had no “social distancing,” few masks, and much shouting?
