Two of James Comey’s close advisors have resigned from the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Lisa Page, whose text messages with lover Peter Strzok became the center of controversy over FBI bias against Trump, resigned today. James Baker, a former top lawyer for the bureau, who was reassigned in 2017 after the suspicion that he leaked classified information regarding the Trump Dossier, also resigned.
The Daily Caller reported,
Page worked for several weeks on the Mueller team before returning to her position as one of McCabe’s counselors. Strzok worked on the Mueller investigation until July 28, 2017, when Michael Horowitz, the DOJ’s inspector general, notified Mueller of the scandalous text messages.
Page is also a central player in Horowitz’s investigation of McCabe. She is the FBI official who McCabe instructed to speak to The Wall Street Journal regarding an October 2016 article about the FBI’s handling of the Clinton email investigation. McCabe authorized Page to leak to The Journal “in a manner designed to advance his personal interests at the expense of Department leadership,” Horowitz determined.

Baker is accused of leaking classified information. Seems a lot of the previous administration’s so-called “justice” employees spent a lot of time leaking, lying, and practicing their hate for Donald J. Trump. Is Comey defining that as “integrity and committment to the rule of law?”
Page stated she is leaving to “pursue other opportunities.” Baker is going to the Brookings Institution, a Washington “think tank.”
