Comedian Jack Black’s ‘Tenacious D’ Bandmate Dumped by Agent after Wishing for Trump’s Assassination

Singer Kyle Gass has lost his agent after telling fans in Australia that he hopes that the next person who tries to murder Donald Trump does not miss the target.

Gass is a singer with comedian and actor Jack Black’s band, Tenacious D, but his future with the band is now in doubt after the horrid outburst in Sydney, Australia, on Sunday.

During the band’s show, Black brought out a birthday cake for Gass and asked the 62-year-old to make a wish, In response, Gass said, “Don’t miss Trump next time.”

The comment was not a big hit with the Greene Talent Agency, which until Sunday represented Gass. On Monday, the agency said they has dumped Gass from their roster, according to the Daily Mail.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

The backlash for Black and his band was swift and raised to such a din that Black canceled all other concerts in Australia and announced that the band’s future plans are on hold. Indeed, it hay be the end of the band.

“I was blindsided by what was said at the show on Sunday. I would never condone hate speech or encourage political violence in any form,” Black said in a statement.

“After much reflection, I no longer feel it is appropriate to continue the Tenacious D tour, and all future creative plans are on hold. I am grateful to the fans for their support and understanding,” he added.

For his part, Gass is apologetic.

“The line I improvised onstage Sunday night in Sydney was highly inappropriate, dangerous and a terrible mistake,” he said in a statement.

‘I don’t condone violence of any kind, in any form, against anyone,” he continued.

“What happened was a tragedy, and I’m incredibly sorry for my severe lack of judgment. I profoundly apologize to those I’ve let down and truly regret any pain I’ve caused,” he added.

Black has added enough of his own comments to political violence and just last week told his followers that Trump is a “threat to democracy,” the sort of rhetoric that naturally spurs political violence. Black is also a fundraiser for the senile and aged Joe Biden.
