I have friends in Pasadena, California. We prayed our hearts out for them as the Eaton Fire near them grew to 10,000 acres and 5 people lost their lives. The entirety of Los Angeles County became engulfed in a raging inferno. But contrary to the radical environmentalist narrative, it wasn’t climate change that left fire hydrants dry, or fire departments without enough manpower- The California fires were the result of lousy leadership.
California Fires
DEI hires in the fire departments prioritized every person except white men who were qualified. Governor Newsom signed every law he could get his hands on that hamstrung everyone from law enforcement to fire departments to responsible land management by clearing brush and trees. No water catchment, no environmentally responsible water systems left empty reservoirs. Why? Because the crazed left-wing leadership panders to radical environmental groups that shriek about climate change. Essentially, the terrible California fires were human caused. Gee, at least they tried to save the smelt.
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
The Fire Department in LA notified the mayor in December 2024 that they didn’t have the resources they needed in case of fire. They STILL cut their budget severely.

Whether celebrities who blamed the leadership for the California fires as their homes burned to the ground or the ordinary citizens who lost everything, we will all end up paying even more for house insurance no matter where we live. The only silver lining is that this may be a wake-up call for the residents to vote for more responsible leadership.
