Cafeteria Catholic Lyin’ Biden Tries to Deny the March Transgender Proclamation

"I didn't do that" - Joe Biden

NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOSEPH R. BIDEN JR., President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim March 31, 2024, as Transgender Day of Visibility.  I call upon all Americans to join us in lifting up the lives and voices of transgender people throughout our Nation and to work toward eliminating violence and discrimination based on gender identity.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this twenty-ninth day of March, in the year of our Lord two thousand twenty-four, and of the Independence of the United States of America the two hundred and forty-eighth.

JOSEPH R. BIDEN JR.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Of course, Lyin’ Joe refused responsibility for the proclamation. He truly is a “cafeteria Catholic.”

In an exchange with reporters at the annual White House Easter Egg Roll, Biden declined responsibility for the proclamation when asked about House Speaker Mike Johnson’s, R-La., criticism of the action. Over the weekend, Johnson wrote in a post on X, formerly Twitter, that the White House “betrayed the central tenet of Easter,” adding that the proclamation was “outrageous and abhorrent.”

“He’s thoroughly uninformed,” Biden remarked when asked about Johnson’s comments. “I didn’t do that.” F0X

Actually, yes, he did. While March 31 was riddled with a plethora of other days, including “Cesar Chavez Day”(which Kamala Harris celebrated), all of which garnered one of those White House proclamations, the slight against Christianity left a bad taste in the mouths of many. The “Transgender Day” is always on March 31, by the way, but when it conflicted with the holiest day on the Chrisitan calendar the whole thing was mishandled.

The Cardinal of DC, Wilton Gregory, referred to Joe Biden as a “Cafeteria Catholic” because he picks and chooses what parts of his so-called faith he stands for.

“I would say that he’s very sincere about his faith. But like a number of Catholics, he picks and chooses dimensions of the faith to highlight while ignoring or even contradicting other parts…There is a phrase that we have used in the past, a ‘cafeteria Catholic.’ You choose that which is attractive, and dismiss that which is challenging.” Cardinal Wilton Gregory (Breitbart)

Frankly, some of us would call that hypocrisy.
