Border Strike Force: 26 States Join Together – Do What the Federal Govt Won’t Do

On April 19, 26 states signed a pact to do what the Federal Government has refused to do: “disrupt and dismantle transnational criminal organizations.” The states are calling their endeavor the “American Governors Border Strike Force.”

“We’re all border states now & we’re going to protect ourselves. Despite what the Biden Admin would have you believe, criminals, drugs & human trafficking don’t just stay on the border. They make their way to every state.” Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves

The Republican states who have signed on to the Border Strike Force are: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wyoming.

Notably absent are Democrat border states like California and New Mexico. They seem to like the problems created by drug cartels moving illegals into the US. The 26 signatories of the Border Strike Force do not. While the Democrats will tell you they are being “compassionate,” they are actually placing not just illegal families in extreme jeopardy, but United States citizens as well.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

“In the absence of federal leadership, states are partnering together to create the American Governors’ Border Strike Force to disrupt and dismantle transnational criminal organizations by increasing collaboration, improving intelligence, investing in analysis, combating human smuggling, and stopping drug flow in our states,”the agreement states

The governors will coordinate to share intelligence, disrupt smuggling corridors, and assist border states. They plan to focus efforts on targeting cartel finances and border-related crime.

The participating states also plan to review state laws regarding human trafficking, drug trafficking, and transnational criminal organizations “to ensure that such crimes are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”

The Epoch Times

The agreement allows mutual assistance for the Border Strike Force, and each state must pay its own costs. You can read the Memorandum of Understanding here.

“Biden has refused to address the crisis at the border, so America’s governors are stepping up. Our multi-state partnership is designed to disrupt and dismantle the transnational criminal organizations taking advantage of the open border with Mexico.”

Idaho Governor Brad Little
