A bomb threat in DC on Thursday morning as a man sitting in a black pickup parked on the sidewalk in front of the Library of Congress told police he had a bomb. He was streaming his actions on Facebook until his profile was removed. Police sent snipers to the scene. Congress is in recess until September. The police blocked off several streets near the Capitol and sent alerts to congressional staff members, which prompted evacuations.
UPDATE: Ray Roseberry surrendered to law enforcement.

Bomb threat in DC
The suspect was identified as Ray Roseberry from Cleveland County, North Carolina. Police were notified of the pickup parked near the Capitol at around 9:15 a.m. EDT. When they arrived, they noticed it had no license plates. Officers contacted the man in the pickup, who said he had a bomb and appeared to be holding a detonator. Police began a negotiation with him as three Capitol office buildings were evacuated. The police advised people to stay away from the area. They are attempting to determine whether the bomb is real. At this point, the Capitol police, DC police, FBI, ATF are responding, and DC fire/EMS are staged nearby.

During negotiations, the man claimed there are 4 more trucks parked around DC. Police began evacuating homes in the area. He also claimed he had ammonium nitrate in the bed of his truck.

Note to Democrats: A true patriot would never do something this stupid, especially in such a blatant attempt to gain some sort of notoriety. This is a developing story. We will update when the situation resolves.
