Black Man Wearing Justice for Breonna T-Shirt Murders 3 at KY Bar

Bungalow Joe’s Bar and Grill in Louisville, KY was the scene of a murder on Friday night. A Black man wearing a “Justice for Breonna” t-shirt walked up to patrons and employees and fatally shot three of them at point blank range. The bar is owned by a retired police officer.

Random attack? Bar owner says it was, but was it really? What does the Justice for Breonna T-shirt invoke?

WDRB reported,

Louisville Metro Police officers responded to the bar, located on Beulah Church Road, around 11:30 p.m. Two of the men who were shot, Toreon Jermaine Hudson, 26, and William Scott Smallwood, 48, were pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office. The other victim, Steven Matthew Head, 24, died from his injuries at University Hospital.

Michael E. Rhynes Jr., 33, was arrested just after midnight Saturday after police found him crawling in brush near the restaurant, according to Rhynes’ arrest report. Police said Rhynes’ clothing matched the clothing of the suspect caught on video and that he had a handgun loaded with several rounds that were manufactured by the same company that made the shell casings found at the scene.

His manager’s fiance was among the men murdered. Scott Smallwood was owner Joe Bishop’s close friend.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

“Very first customer I had in the place. Well liked by everyone. Didn’t have an enemy in the world. He was a regular; he was a fixture here. Every time you came up here, there was a good chance Scott was going to be here…” Joe Bishop

Since the bar was well known as being owned by a retired police officer, it is doubtful this was a completely random attack. The bar owner believes it was random and the man was drugged up or deranged, but You have to wonder. There was no altercation, no argument, no reason for this action unless it was politically motivated in some way. In the last few years, “deranged” has a political tone to it in many cases.

Louisville, KY has actually boarded up the windows to the Federal building in anticipation of the Federal Grand Jury decision on whether to charge the officers who shot Breonna Taylor. (Fox) Does the “Justice for Breonna” t-shirt then paint a possible political motive on this crime?
