Bizarre – Naked Waffle House Shooter in Antioch, TN Left 4 Dead, 3 Wounded
A man wearing only a green jacket approached a Waffle House in Antioch, Tennessee at around 3:25 a.m. Sunday morning and opened fire both outside and inside the restaurant. A patron wrestled the gun away from the shooter, who then fled totally naked from the scene. A manhunt was launched.
The suspect was identified as Travis Reinking, 29, from Morton, IL. He allegedly first shot two people outside the Waffle House, then proceeded inside to shoot more people. Three people died on scene, and a 4th person died at the hospital. Three others are wounded, their conditions unknown.
Police issued an alert to the public that said, “If you see a nude guy walking around this morning call the police department.” Nashville Metro PD
Several people did report seeing a “nude guy” walking on foot in the area.

“A 29-year-old patron attempting to flee the gunfire saw the shooter struggling with the rifle at one point. The man charged at the shooter, wrestled the weapon away and tossed it over the restaurant’s counter. He is the hero here and no doubt he saved many lives by wrestling the gun away.” Don Aaron Nashville Police spokesman

The suspect was last seen wearing pants but no shirt near the tree line of the apartments where he was living.
A man believed to be Travis Reinking was last seen in a wood line near Discovery at Mountain View Apts. on Mountain Springs Dr. near the Waffle House. The man was seen wearing black pants and no shirt.

Reinking drove up to the Waffle House in a pickup truck that was registered to him in Illinois. Investigators found that he had a history with firearms in that state, according to Fox News.
