Biden Rages at Fox News Reporter for ‘Stupid’ Question
All the world’s a stage, and Joe Biden’s handlers are very well aware of that fact.
Over the course of this first year of Joe Biden’s presidency, the nation has come under the impression that he is a bit of a reluctant Commander in Chief. Not only did he have to be goaded into running in 2020 by the Democratic Party, but his actions have belied a rather lackadaisical quality to his presidency.
Last week, as his approval ratings continued to crater, there were rumblings in the White House about a “new” public relations strategy for Sleepy Joe. Shortly after, we saw the President engage in a nearly two hour press conference, likely in an effort to display some sort of stamina.
Now, in what could very well be an attempt to show the nation some “grit”, Biden got feisty with a Fox News reporter.
As reporters were escorted out of a science-focused meeting next door to the White House, Fox News correspondent Jacqui Heinrich shouted, “Why are you waiting on [Russian President Vladimir] Putin to make the first move, sir?”
Biden’s answer was not captured on the official video livestream, but press audio engineers recorded him saying, “What a stupid question,” according to a pool report by Yahoo’s Alexander Nazaryan.
Video emerged later showing Biden chuckling and giving a disbelieving look to officials before muttering the jab.
