Ann Coulter: Ted Cruz, Fox News ‘American traitors’ over statements about violence at Trump rally

coulter On Saturday, columnist and author Ann Coulter decided to redefine treason when she took a stab at Sen. [score]Ted Cruz[/score], R-Texas, and Fox News, calling them both traitors over statements they made about the left-wing violence at Donald Trump’s Chicago rally.

Of course, Coulter apparently forgot that Fox has been quite friendly to Trump recently…

Of course, a number of Trump supporters sided with her in this attack. She wasn’t finished spewing her hate, however:

Coulter, who used to be a mainstream conservative pundit, has turned her Twitter timeline into a Trump-only zone, having apparently decided to eschew discussing policy in order to shill for her candidate. That’s her right, of course, but she can no longer claim to be an objective observer of conservative politics, now that she’s joined the circular firing squad.

So what, exactly has Cruz said? In this video, he clearly lays the blame on the protesters, something Coulter is apparently too blinded to see. He also said that the person at the top is “responsible for the culture” and sets the tone. Check it out for yourself:

Has Trump encouraged violence? Well, at about 1:20 into this video, you can see and hear him telling supporters to “knock the crap” out of anyone getting ready to act up. He also promises to pay for the lawsuits. And this is just one video showing one example.

It’s clear that the protesters were encouraged by radical revolutionary leftists like Bernie Sanders and Bill Ayers. What they did was outrageous.

But Coulter has jumped the shark on this.

Frankly, I’m getting a bit tired of seeing conservatives rip each other to shreds in this primary. This is exactly what the radical left wants, because it ensures a Clinton victory in November. Garbage like this is exactly why this blog will not endorse a candidate in the GOP primary.

Sorry, Ann, I’ve been a big fan, but you’ve lost me on this. Ted Cruz a “traitor?” Hardly.
