Alleged ‘Journalist’ Calls Child Welfare Services on ‘Racist’ GOP Mom For Teaching Child About Columbus Day
Want to teach your child the truth about American history and Christopher Columbus? Be warned — a liberal “journalist” named David Leavitt will probably out you on Twitter as a “racist” and report you to Child Protective Services, Newsbusters’ Matt Philbin reported.
Sounds crazy? Guess again. Leavitt did exactly that, Philbin said.
According to the report, the alleged “journalist” did that very thing to Virginia State Senate candidate Tina Ramirez, apparently in retaliation for Ramirez wishing her Twitter followers a Happy Columbus Day.

“Why are you celebrating torture, rape, murder, and enslavement?” he demanded of Ramirez, who happens to be the Virginia chair of the conservative women’s political action committee Maggie’s List and a candidate for state senate.

Ramirez responded:

First off, as Philbin observed, Ramirez’ child is… black. But that doesn’t matter to the liberal propagandist, who apparently called the agency on her himself.
The Virginia State hotline for child abuse has a 10+ minute hold and is experiencing “high call volumes” with 14 callers ahead of me.

Radical leftist @David_Leavitt didn’t just call CPS to level accusations against me.
He waited an hour on hold, tying up the lines of our CPS professionals trying to help Virginia’s children. The radical left is willing to put our children at risk to cancel conservatives.
