AG Loretta Lynch to prosecute those who use ‘anti-Muslim rhetoric’ that ‘edges toward violence’

Loretta_Lynch_US_AttorneyIt seems that the First Amendment right to free speech is being targeted by the Obama administration in the wake of the horrific shooting in San Bernardino, California.

On Friday, the Daily Wire reported that Attorney General Loretta Lynch now intends to prosecute those who use “anti-Muslim rhetoric” that “edges toward violence.”

She made the announcement while speaking at the Muslim Advocate’s 10th anniversary dinner on Thursday:

The fear that you have just mentioned is in fact my greatest fear as a prosecutor, as someone who is sworn to the protection of all of the American people, which is that the rhetoric will be accompanied by acts of violence. My message to not just the Muslim community but to the entire American community is: we cannot give in to the fear that these backlashes are really based on.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Telling the group that “we stand with you,” she promised to use the DOJ to protect Muslims from “violence” and perceived discrimination.

“When we talk about the First amendment we [must] make it clear that actions predicated on violent talk are not American. They are not who we are, they are not what we do, and they will be prosecuted,” she added.

“My message not just to the Muslim community but to all Americans is ‘We cannot give in to the fear that these backlashes are really based on,’” she said.

There’s a few problems with this.

First, who, exactly, decides what constitutes violent speech.  Second, how is this speech to be defined and third, who is going to enforce this?  Will the regime recruit groups like CAIR or companies like Facebook?

Finally, what laws, specifically, have been enacted to permit this?

Of course, we all know who the targets are, and we’ve already seen how this has been enforced on Facebook.

The Daily Wire also noted that Lynch called the shooting a wonderful opportunity to change law enforcement:

We’re at the point where these issues have come together really like never before in law enforcement thought and in our nation’s history and it gives us a wonderful opportunity and a wonderful moment to really make significant change.

Welcome to Obama’s fundamentally-transformed America, where the government now decides what you may or may not say or think…
